The Diva and Drama

The Diva has been busy lately and
loving every minute of it.
First she played Yellow Beard in the school musical.
They put on a daytime and nighttime performace.

 She loves the stage!
Then she got to do ista!
Her school was the host of a
primary school festival.
Kids from Russia, Germany, Portugal, Denmark,
Belgium and Turkey come for three nights
and four days.

They worked in groups with artist from around
the world.
She worked with a well known mime from the US.
On the last day we got to go and
watch little skits they made.
She had the time of her life!

Each night she came home full of
excitement talking non-stop!
She comes home with form after form
wanting to sign up for stuff or asking for money and as
a parent sometimes it's so easy just to say no.
When she signs up for something
we basically sign up as well. I mean
we have to foot the bill and get her from point A
to point B, and my to do list
is alreay very long, but when you can see
the passion in her eyes you can not say no.

Then you start looking for the next ista event
that she can attend.
She had the time of her life!

She really is growing up!

Here are a few videos
from the event.
You might have to copy and paste
to get them to work.

The Elf and Choir

The Elf found us again this year in Germany and he
came with gifts and a friend.

I know I will not get away doing this for long,
but it's just too cute not to!!!

 How cute is this one?
She was in the Christmas Choir again
this year. She had 6 or 7 choir performances
around the town. Some on base and others
at German Christmas Markets.

She even had a solo at one of the performances
and it was in Spanish.

She is growing up way to fast.
It was a great start to the month of December.

Elf, Advent Calendar and Cuteness!!!

The morning of December 1st is
an exciting day for us.
Advent Calendars for the kids and
the Elf made his return and had small
gifts for the kids.
Mr. PC got 24 days of full size beers!

 The Elf and his gifts!
The kids both got a Lego calendar.

 Christmas tree shopping
in Germany is very different from the States.
You pay to the top of the tree, even if
you plan to cut a foot or two off of it,
because it is bare.
Our very small tree and our new friend.

The Diva was in choir this year and
6 Christmas performances this year.
I was never able to get good pictures
during the concerts.
