Dresden

We said goodbye to Prague

and heading back home.

On the way home the weather

cooperated and we got to

stop in Dresden, Germany for a few hours.

Dresden is another city the mixes the old 

with the new.

It is also a city that

we need to go back to visit.

We only had a few hours

 to spend there and that is truly 

not enough time for a city of this size.

 We visted  a few of the historical sites, grabbed 

lunch and checked out the very nice mall!

 Then it was back into the van to head home.

We will have to plan another trip back to Dresden,

so we can really explore all the city has to offer.

The kids decided to eat their gingerbread cookies

that we got in Prague on the way home.

 I had to get pictures of them first.

It was another great 4-day weekend and road trip!

We had a blast and I am already planning 

our next road trip.
