Our first road trip was to the Netherlands.
We made a little pit stop for this little guy
to eat and play for a while.
It was only 410 km to our first stop.
It's crazy that in 4 hours we can be in a
different country, but back home if we
drove 4 hours we wouldn't even be
out of Texas.
Our first stop was Clara Maria.
It is an amazing place to visit.
It's a clog and cheese farm and
the family that runs the place are
so sweet and welcoming.
First we learned about
the cheese making process.
I am sad that I forgot his name
because he was quite funny!
Across the room you could watch them make cheese.
We headed out to the shopping area
and tasted cheese!
OMG I was in heaven.
I truly believe that cheese should be
it's own food group.
We did a little shopping!
Then the Farmer took us
to the clog shop and showed us how he
makes clogs.
The best part was the kids got to help.
He was awesome with the kids.
They really enjoyed making the clog.
The best part was we got to keep the clog.

Before we headed to the hotel we checked out the barn.
The Diva was in heaven with all the animals.
It was an amazing place to visit!
I would highly recommend visiting
Clara Maria if you ever make it
to the Netherlands.
It was a great start to our
road trip.
