Barcelona

Barcelona will always be known as
the trip I tossed my itinerary
into the trash.
(as fun as it was the itinerary will be back
on our next trip.)
We spent our trip chasing the sun, shopping
and not caring about a must-do list.

When you find this less than
a block from your
hotel you know it's
going to be a great trip.

We started our first day with my itinerary in hand,
but we quickly realized it was too nice of a day
to go inside and explore.

We headed to the pier to explore!

We just hung out on the pier
and soaked up the sun.
Then we had a two hour lunch on the
pier!
Seafood and sangria, what more
could we ask for.

Then it was off to the beach!!

The kids played in the water and
had a blast.

Our sweet boy was not
a fan of the water. In his defense
the water was still cold.

We had a great time walking around
and exploring the area as
we soaked up the sun.

It is never a dull moment with Mr. Man and The Diva!
Sweet Boy was a rock star! As long as you keep his
belly full he is a happy boy.
He smiled and talked his way through Barcelona.
We might not have got to see the Magic Fountain of Montjuic,
(it was under construction)
but the fountain in the plaza by our hotel
was just as magical.

We sadly said goodbye to sun and sand
and headed back to the cold and wet!
Barcelona is an amazing location
and we had a very relaxing time.
Sun, sand, and shopping. What more
could we need?

Christmas

I love Christmas morning!
The excitement, smiles and laughter.
At 6am we had two very excited
kids standing next to our bed.
Before they run down the hall.

The must have photo in front of the tree.
 Coffee
 All smiles

I love watching the kids open gifts.
The smiles, big eyes, the many faces and
at times jumping up and down
from pure surprise!

 His list was all Legos!!
She loves shoes just like her Mamma!
He was shocked when he opened this one!
I have an awesome poker face.

 The aftermath!
Once all the gifts were open we had
our traditional breakfast quiche.
We stayed in PJs all day and the kids played
with their new toys.

Almost Christmas

It seems like Christmas takes forever to come,
but the month of December goes by in a flash.

We  made our annual gingerbread house
one night!
It is always fun to watch everyone decorate their house because,
we all have very different styles.

On Christmas Eve we went to brunch
at our good friend's house.

When we got home from brunch we had
a package at the door from Rudolph.

 Matching family pajamas!

 My little crazies!

We baked cookies for Santa, watched Christmas movies, sprinkled
reindeer food and then it was time for bed!

We had a very jam packed day, but it was filled with fun!
