C is for

Christ, Christmas and
this time of year in our house
it is for compromise!

For as much as Mr. PC and I
are on the same page, read
each others mind and finish
each others sentences, some things
we are as different as night and day!

Mr. PC would like his christmas tree
to look like this:

Large fresh tree, with colored lights,
all different color ornaments, garland
and tinsel.

I would like my tree to look like this:
a nice slim fake tree
with white lights, ribbons and matching
ornaments only in two colors.

How do we make it work you ask?

I get mad break all the ornamets that do not match
and call it day!

Maybe not, but I did drop this one and
Mr. PC was able to fix it!

We start with a real tree and add
only clear lights!

For the ornaments we use
some that have lots of meaning,
some that are just cute, some the remind us
of friends and family far away!
One for our first Christmas
as husband and wife!

One that reminds Mr. PC
of his hometown.

One for each of the kid's
first Christmas

Some to show support
for the teams that we love!

Some that we made with the kids!

Some that are from family
that make us smile!

Some that are gifts to our kids
that fill our heart with joy!

Some to make us smile
and remind us just how
much we love each other.
Some that are now a tradition!
I buy Mr. PC one each year
from one of his teams!

Some to make you laugh

Some to make you stop and think
just what Christmas is all about!

This is our small little tree!
Yes, I can call it small.
It is only about 6ft tall and in the past
our trees were around 11ft tall.
The top third is all
ornaments that hold a meaning, the
next third are all of the glass ones we got
in red and gold (before kids)
and the bottom third
are all plastic red ones that I got
for a photo shoot with the Diva.
We use them to keep me
from going crazy and worrying
about the kids breaking the ornaments!

That is how we mix our
two ideas of how a tree should look!
