I woke up at 5:30 am and checked
the news and looked out the window.
We had snow!
The only problem was the kids
school was still open.
One by one all the schools
in the area started to close,
but not the kids school.
After listening to the news
it sounded like the roads would
only get worse as the day went on.
I decided to make it a snow day!
(Two hours later the school closed
due to ice on the hill.)
I tired to persuade the kids to
stay in bed. I even turned on cartoons
in my room.
Before I could even get downstairs
the Diva had already
started to craft!
It was a snow day after all ;-)
Both of them are morning people
and we know they do not get that from me.
After lunch we headed out
to play in the snow.
It was a soft and fluffy snow.
Mr. Man tried so hard to have
a snow ball fight,
but the Diva only wanted to build
a snowman.

Rain boots as snow boots.
We went down to look at the creek.
It is so pretty down there.
The kids had a blast playing in the snow.
