That Time of the a Year

It is that time of year when the to do list

gets a little out of control.

When you try to fit 26 hours into

a 24 hour day.

On Saturday I tossed the to do

out the window and spent the whole

day playing with the kids

and not thinking about my

big to do list!

 

We played in the snow!

I did realize we all are in need of

some cold weather gear!

 

It was more ice then snow, but we still had

a lot of fun.



We took a little hike to look at

 the creek behind the house.

It was very pretty down there.

Always a Diva!

After about a hour it was time

to warm up by the fire

and drink some hot cocoa!

I am normally not a fan of hot cocoa,

but I made it from scratch and I

am in love with it!!!!!

Then it was off  to the basement to watch

a Christmas movie!

Santa Buddies was a cute movie.

 

Then it was time to craft!

Always a big hit in our house!

We had dinner by the fire.

Then it was time for more Christmas Movies!

We had popcorn, cookies and more hot cocoa!

 This one made it till 9:36 pm.

He held out to have his cookies

and hot cocoa and then he was out!

The Diva made it till the end of the second movie

at 11pm. She tired to talk me into

a third movie, but I was ready for bed!

It was an awesome day!

My to do can wait, because my babies

are growing up way to fast!!



Snow Day

 

We got a snow day!

We made the most of it.

 We took some pictures in matching

 The kids requested a winter themed lunch.

 We did a little painting and

it is always a big hit in this house.

 Then we got to work on the tree.

 For most of the day it was more ice

then it was snow.

I think we made the most of our snow day!

I hope tomorrow we get to play in the snow.

This and That

We have had a busy week, but

I'm  not really sure what we have done.

It seems as if we are always on the go.

 I spent some time in his class taking picture

for the class Christmas project!

I love to take pictures, but it was

 hard work getting them all to smile.

The Elf is back!

It is  a race every morning to find him!

Some days the kids are just to

cute in the morning not to snap a few pictures. 

 This little Diva is really into clothes.

She has started to pick out most of her school clothes,

but I still hold veto power.

 It's night three of

Operation Christmas Ornaments

for the Mr. Man's class.

We have 3 trees up and decorated and tree #4 up,

but not decorated yet! I am on winter storm watch tonight.

I have seen maps that have us getting rain, 1-3 inches of snow, and

6-8 inches of snow with maybe 1/2 inch of ice! Not sure what way it will go.

I would like a snow day. I am at the kids school almost as much as them.

It has been a busy week, but a fun week.
